Refund and Returns Policy

Renaissance Fine Consignment operates as a retail clothing and accessories store offering physical items shipped directly to customers within the United States. This policy explains the conditions under which returns may be accepted and how refunds are processed.

This policy applies to all purchases made directly through our website.


Return Eligibility

Return requests may be submitted within 30 days of delivery and are subject to review and approval based on the conditions outlined below.

A return request may be approved if:

  • The item received is defective, damaged, or incorrect
  • The item received differs materially from the product description
  • The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • Original tags and packaging, if applicable, are included
  • The return request is submitted within 30 days of delivery

Non-Returnable Items

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Items marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase
  • Items showing signs of wear, use, washing, or alteration
  • Requests submitted after the 30-day return window
  • Items returned without prior authorization

Because inventory is consigned and often limited to single items, returns based solely on sizing, fit, or personal preference are not accepted. Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions, measurements, and images carefully before placing an order.


Return Request Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact support@renaissancesac.com within 30 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number and a description of the issue
  3. If approved, return instructions will be provided

Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is approved due to an error on our part, such as a defective or incorrect item.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Renaissance Fine Consignment is not responsible for items lost during return transit.


Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our error
  • Refund processing times vary by payment provider and may take several business days after approval

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If a return is approved and completed, a new order may be placed if the desired item remains available.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, customers should contact us promptly so the issue can be reviewed and appropriate resolution steps can be determined.
